People Power Party's Shin Dongwook Proposes Top-Level Public Review of 'Party Board' Incident Amid Han Disciplinary Controversy

Objective and Thorough Verification Needed
Consent to Use Personal Information of Former Leader Han and His Family Required

As internal conflict continues within the People Power Party over the so-called Party Members’ Bulletin Board (Party Board) incident, which led to the expulsion of former leader Han Donghoon by the Ethics Committee, People Power Party Supreme Council member Shin Dongwook has proposed a public review of the incident at the highest party level.

On this day, Supreme Council member Shin stated on Facebook, "The controversy is dragging on for too long," and made this proposal.

Regarding the fact that Representative Jang Donghyuk announced he would postpone confirming disciplinary action against former leader Han during the appeal period, Shin said, "Although a chance for reconsideration was given to former leader Han, he has not responded. If the expulsion is finalized in this state, the turmoil will only grow."

He continued, "Therefore, as a last resort, I propose a public review involving all elected Supreme Council members. If even this fails, the matter will inevitably have to be settled through an investigation to establish the facts."

He concluded by emphasizing, "Objective and thorough verification is essential to avoid lingering resentment," and added, "For this, consent to use the personal information of former leader Han and his family members will also be necessary."
