Uijeongbu St. Mary's Hospital of Catholic University Receives Certificate of Appreciation from Gyeonggi Northern Provincial Police Agency

and Strengthening Cooperation Between Police and Hospital

Jung Taejin, Deputy Manager of the External Medical Cooperation Team at Uijeongbu St. Mary's Hospital, Catholic University (Hospital Director Lee Taegyu), received a certificate of appreciation from the Gyeonggi Northern Provincial Police Agency. The hospital announced that the award ceremony took place during the January monthly meeting held on the second floor of the main building in the clinical lecture room on January 15.

Jung Taejin was responsible for the practical work involved in establishing a "24-hour dedicated hotline and fast track" system, which was recently implemented through agreements between Uijeongbu St. Mary's Hospital, the Gyeonggi Northern Provincial Police Agency, and the Fire and Disaster Headquarters.

Through these efforts, a close cooperation system among related organizations was established, ensuring that police officers and firefighters injured in the line of duty can receive optimal emergency medical services immediately upon arrival at the hospital. This achievement was recognized as it aligns with the hospital's vision of social contribution, aiming to meet the diverse needs of the local community.

Jung Taejin stated, "It was only possible to achieve tangible results in external cooperation thanks to the full support of the hospital director," adding, "I will continue to do my best to further strengthen the essential medical safety net in the northern Gyeonggi region, so that uniformed public officials can focus on their duties with peace of mind."
