Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, announced on January 16 that it held a 'Bread of Love' sharing ceremony with Youngmoo Construction Co., Ltd. for social welfare facilities in the district.

The ceremony was attended by Kim Ikang, Mayor of Seo-gu, Park Jaehong, Chairman of Youngmoo Construction Co., Ltd., and about 10 executives and staff members, further emphasizing the significance of community sharing.

Youngmoo Construction Co., Ltd. plans to regularly donate bread worth 200,000 won every week to three social welfare facilities in Seo-gu this year, with the total support amounting to approximately 25.66 million won. The donated bread will be used to provide snacks and daily living support for facility users.

Park Jaehong, Chairman of Youngmoo Construction Co., Ltd., stated, "As a company that has grown together with the local community, we wanted to consistently deliver small acts of kindness to neighbors in need," adding, "We will continue to spread a culture of warm sharing through ongoing social contribution activities."

Kim Ikang, Mayor of Seo-gu, expressed, "We are deeply grateful to Youngmoo Construction Co., Ltd. for practicing warm sharing through regular support," and added, "Such public-private sharing initiatives will become a great force in making the local welfare safety net even stronger and more robust."

Meanwhile, Youngmoo Construction Co., Ltd., a construction company that has supplied residential spaces under the 'Youngmoo Yedaeum' brand, has been steadily practicing coexistence with the local community through various social contribution activities such as home repairs for neighbors in need and in-kind donations since 2005.
