Shinhan Bank held the ‘43rd Shinhan Bank University Student Public Relations Ambassador Closing Ceremony’ on the 15th at the main auditorium of its headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul.
This closing ceremony marked the conclusion of the official activities of the 43rd class of ambassadors, which took place in the second half of last year. University student ambassadors selected from across the country gathered to reflect on their experiences and share their achievements. Since introducing the first external activity program for university students in the banking sector in September 2004, Shinhan Bank has produced more than 3,900 graduates to date. Over the past 21 years, these ambassadors have played a key role in conveying Shinhan Bank’s brand value from a youthful perspective by creating brand content, communicating with business departments, and planning and participating in various events.
In particular, the 43rd class carried out a wide range of activities in the second half of last year, focusing on topics such as financial consumer protection, global cultural exchange, and social contribution. These included the ‘43-Second Film Festival,’ which delivered video messages on the importance of preventing telecommunication financial fraud from a youth perspective; ‘UNIQUERS X University Student Public Relations Ambassadors,’ a competition for new business ideas combining financial and non-financial sectors; the autumn sports festival ‘Cheongchunhwaje’ to strengthen teamwork among the 43rd class; and content production with Shinhan Bank’s foreign scholarship students.
