The report meeting was presided over by Deputy Mayor Kim Sangsoo and attended by the Director of Planning and Coordination as well as heads of departments and divisions. The main topics of discussion included the rapid execution plan, current issues, and response measures.

This year, the city set its own first-half target execution rate at 70% of the total rapid execution amount of 1.1337 trillion won. Namyangju plans to secure available resources early and designate key budget items for focused execution, aiming for proactive budget implementation within January.

In particular, the city will intensively manage progress and execution rates of large-scale projects and actively utilize temporary local contract exemptions such as advance and interim payments to accelerate policy implementation.

Additionally, the city plans to regularly check execution status and identify on-site issues through ongoing report meetings and strategic sessions, in order to develop effective countermeasures.

Deputy Mayor Kim Sangsoo stated, "Given the changing external conditions of our economy, the importance of revitalizing the local economy is more emphasized than ever," and urged, "Please manage the execution status so that public finances can serve as a priming force, and achieve the targets through prompt policy implementation."
