Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority Supports Participation of 50 Innovative Companies
Over 15,000 Visit IFEZ Booth... Showcasing AI City Vision
The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority announced on January 16 that innovative companies from Incheon participating in CES 2026, the world's largest home appliance and IT exhibition, achieved export consultations totaling 560 million dollars.
Fifty local innovative companies, supported by the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, participated in CES 2026, conducting a total of 1,419 export consultations. Among them, nine companies signed 20 business agreements related to technology research and local proof-of-concept projects, creating opportunities to enter the global market and attract domestic investment.
Leadpoint System, a smart manufacturing and industrial automation solutions company, signed a business agreement with Webtronic Labs, a U.S.-based technology research and development company. In addition, EMCT, a fire detection and safety management solutions provider, entered into a business agreement with Texas Legacy Realty, a real estate development and management company in Texas, United States, to collaborate on applying fire safety and safe zone solutions to commercial and residential buildings.
Medicell Healthcare, a regenerative medicine and bio-healthcare solutions company, signed a business agreement with the City of Phoenix, the largest city in Arizona and the authority overseeing public health and medical policies, to discuss cooperation for technology collaboration and local proof-of-concept in the public healthcare sector.

Fourteen companies participating in CES 2026 achieved a record by winning a total of 17 CES Innovation Awards from the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizer of CES. In particular, DeepFusionAI, a radar-based sensor fusion AI technology company, received the Best Innovation Award and gained significant attention as a leading company in next-generation autonomous driving and robotics perception technology.
Meanwhile, it was tallied that 15,000 people visited the 'Incheon-IFEZ (Incheon Free Economic Zone) Promotional Booth' operated by the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority at the CES event. During the CES, the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority also interacted with the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) of Virginia, United States, agreeing to cooperate in supporting Incheon startups' entry into the U.S. market.
Yoo Jeongbok, Mayor of Incheon, stated, "By participating in CES, we showcased Incheon's artificial intelligence (AI) city vision on the global stage," and added, "We will actively support companies' global expansion to develop Incheon into a global business hub."
