This briefing session has been organized to improve access to support policies for businesses and to help strengthen the competitiveness of local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by providing customized information by sector.
The event will feature participation from ten organizations: Gyeonggi Regional Office of SMEs and Startups, Korea Credit Guarantee Fund, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation, Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), Gyeonggi FTA Trade Promotion Center, Gyeonggi Institute of Economic Science and Technology, Gyeonggi Technopark, Gyeonggi Daejin Technopark, and the Small Enterprise and Market Service. Each organization will present key policies for 2026 across four areas: policy funds and financial support, exports and market expansion, research and development (R&D), and support for small business owners.
Through this session, the city aims to provide SMEs with a one-stop opportunity to access policy information that was previously scattered across various organizations, making it easier for them to understand support systems needed for their actual business operations.
In particular, the session will focus on presentations and customized consultations centered on frequently used programs such as policy fund consultations and technology development support, providing practical assistance to businesses.
Business owners wishing to participate can apply via the KakaoTalk channel 'Uijeongbu City Business Support Notification' or by scanning the QR code published in the city's promotional materials by January 26.
Participation is free of charge, and companies that apply will receive a business support policy handbook on a first-come, first-served basis. For more details regarding the briefing session, please visit the Uijeongbu City website or the KakaoTalk channel 'Uijeongbu City Business Support Notification.'
An official from Uijeongbu City stated, "Accessibility to information is the most important factor for policies to be truly felt in the business field," adding, "The city will continue to take the lead in bridging the gap between policy and the field, and will strive to make Uijeongbu a business-friendly city."
