Recruitment of Social Media Press Corps and Global Supporters to Promote "Daejeon, the City of Fun"

Daejeon City is recruiting for the "2026 Daejeon Metropolitan City Social Media Press Corps" and the "2026 Daejeon Metropolitan City Global Supporters" to promote the appeal of Daejeon, the city of fun.

This initiative aims to share the charm of Daejeon and deliver vivid updates on municipal affairs through a variety of content, including articles, photos, and foreign languages.

The Social Media Press Corps will consist of 100 members. Applications are open until February 6. Eligible applicants include residents of Daejeon, Sejong, North Chungcheong, or South Chungcheong, as well as university students or employees working in Daejeon.

The Global Supporters group will also have 100 members. Applications are open until February 9, and any foreign national residing in Daejeon, Sejong, or the Chungcheong region is eligible to apply.

To apply, download the application form from the Daejeon Metropolitan City website or official blog, fill it out, and submit it via email to the designated contact person.

However, applicants for the Social Media Press Corps must attach a post on the topic of Daejeon Metropolitan City (such as policy, history, culture, or travel) to their application form.

The selection results will be announced on the official blog and official social networking services (SNS) of Daejeon Metropolitan City: February 19 for the Social Media Press Corps and February 23 for the Global Supporters.

Those who are finally selected will serve as members of the Social Media Press Corps and Global Supporters from the date of appointment until the end of this year, taking on roles such as reporting from the field and discovering and introducing various content related to Daejeon City.

In addition, both the Social Media Press Corps and Global Supporters will receive a set fee for each post they publish, and outstanding participants will be awarded a commendation from the Mayor of Daejeon.
