Chairperson Jo Wonhui of Daejeon Metropolitan Council to Hold Publication Ceremony for "Only Yuseong"

Ideas and Suggestions for Yuseong's Development Strategies Included

Jo Wonhui, Chairperson of the Daejeon Metropolitan Council, has published a book titled "Only Yuseong," which contains his reflections and vision for the development of Yuseong. A publication ceremony will be held on January 24 at 3:00 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom on the second floor of Exhibition Hall 1 at the Daejeon Convention Center.

This book encapsulates the local issues and policy challenges encountered during his activities in the local council, as well as the sense of responsibility fostered together with citizens in the field.

In particular, it presents ideas and suggestions for Yuseong's development strategies across a variety of areas essential for the transformation and advancement of Yuseong, including: urban, transportation, and living infrastructure; revitalization of the local economy; educational and care services, cultural and tourism resources; and the improvement of residents' quality of life.

The publication ceremony will take the form of a book concert. It is designed as an opportunity to communicate with citizens on the core messages of the book and the future direction of Yuseong's development. Chairperson Jo plans to personally explain his insights, vision, concerns, and proposed solutions regarding Yuseong.

Prior to the main event, a book signing session with the author will be held from 2:00 p.m., and all citizens are welcome to participate regardless of invitation.

Chairperson Jo stated, "I have hung the phrase 'Why am I here?' in my office and have constantly asked myself this question every day, even amidst my busy legislative work," adding, "To answer that question, I have spent a long time contemplating and refining my strategies and sincere hopes for the development of Yuseong, which I have included in this book."

He further remarked, "I hope that citizens will join in envisioning the future of Yuseong and contribute their keen interest and thoughtful suggestions."
