On January 15, the organizers of the 2nd D Awards (D Awards with upick) announced that actors Lee Jongwon and Shin Yeeun, along with BoyNextDoor member Myung Jaehyun, will serve as MCs for the ceremony.
Lee Jongwon will take the microphone for the second consecutive year, following his role at last year’s inaugural ceremony. Shin Yeeun, who gained popularity through the dramas "A Hundred Memories" and "Turbid Stream," is expected to lead the event, leveraging her deep understanding of K-pop. Myung Jaehyun, in addition to his group’s global success, also brings experience as a music show host.
The organizers also revealed a lineup of 14 performing teams: P1Harmony, Enhypen, Xikers, BoyNextDoor, Zerobaseone, 82Major, QWER, NCT Wish, Nexz, IZNA, Kickflip, Ahop, AMP, and Choi Lipwoo. Additional performers and award presenters will be announced sequentially.
The 2nd D Awards, hosted by Sports Donga and with upick as the naming sponsor, will take place on February 11 at Hwa Jeong Gymnasium, Korea University, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.
