Gyeonggi Volunteer Fire Brigade Association Holds Extraordinary General Meeting on the 14th... Key Executives Elected

On January 14, the Gyeonggi Provincial Fire and Disaster Headquarters held the "January Extraordinary General Meeting of the Gyeonggi Province Volunteer Fire Brigade Association" in the main conference room on the first floor of its headquarters in Paldal-gu, Suwon.

The meeting was attended by the presidents of the volunteer fire brigade associations from all 25 fire stations in the province. During the session, they shared the operational direction for the association in the coming year and elected key executives who will lead the organization.

At this general meeting, the association appointed a total of eight new executives: one male and one female vice president, two auditors, two secretaries-general, and two directors of external cooperation. These new executives will play leading roles in the association for the next three years.

Choi Yongcheol, Acting Head of the Gyeonggi Provincial Fire and Disaster Headquarters, stated, "As the name suggests, the Volunteer Fire Brigade is an organization founded on 'righteousness' and 'courage.' The election of executives today is not about authority but about the weight of responsibility. Please remember that executives of the Volunteer Fire Brigade should not seek to stand at the front, but rather serve as a guiding light for their members."
