I'mweb announced on January 15 that the cumulative transaction volume of its client companies operating their own online stores has surpassed 7 trillion won.
I'mweb attributed this achievement to its continuous enhancement of features and infrastructure necessary for running independent online stores, ranging from order and payment processes to data-driven marketing and customer management.
I'mweb noted that an increasing number of brands operating their own online stores are experiencing significant growth, recording annual sales in the billions of won, backed by strong fan bases. In particular, as CRM marketing and repurchase strategies based on member data have become more sophisticated, independent online stores are now functioning not only as one-time sales channels but also as long-term revenue bases and central hubs for customer relationships.
The cumulative transaction volume has also grown rapidly, reaching 1 trillion won in 2020, 3 trillion won in 2023, and 6 trillion won in 2025. The time required to accumulate each additional 1 trillion won has shortened compared to before. Over the past five years, the company has achieved an average annual growth rate of 34%, indicating that the transaction structure is expanding steadily and securely.
Lee Sumo, CEO of I'mweb, stated, "The 7 trillion won in cumulative transaction volume is the result of the 1 million brands that have grown alongside I'mweb, and it is an indicator that a new phase of brand growth is unfolding." He added, "With this achievement as a turning point, we will drive the next stage of brand growth through bold investments in products, data, and our organization as a whole."
