Byung-Hun An, who previously played on the PGA Tour, has transferred to LIV Golf.
On January 15, LIV Golf announced, "Byung-Hun An, one of the leading players in Korean golf, will join as captain of the Korean Golf Club (GC) starting from the 2026 season." Two days prior, LIV Golf revealed the establishment of the Korean Golf Club team for the 2026 season and, on this day, also announced the team members. Byung-Hun An will serve as the captain of the Korean Golf Club. The team members include Song Younghan, Kim Minkyu, and Korean-New Zealander Danny Lee.

Byung-Hun An is the son of Ahn Jae-Hyung and Jiao Zhimin, both former table tennis stars from Korea and China, respectively. He won the 2009 US Amateur Championship and has secured two victories on the DP World Tour. On the PGA Tour, he participated in 229 tournaments, finishing as runner-up five times but without a win. His total career earnings of 21,535,424 US dollars (approximately 31.6 billion won) are the highest among players on the PGA Tour who have not won a tournament.
