Korea Army Academy at Yeongcheon Holds Handover Ceremony for 40th and 41st Commanders

Fostering Elite Officers Through a People-Centered Spirit, Change, and Innovation

On January 14, the Korea Army Academy at Yeongcheon held a ceremony for the transfer of command between the 40th and 41st Commanders, presided over by Kim Kyuha, Chief of Staff of the Army, at the Loyalty Parade Ground.

Major General Park Jinhee, who was inaugurated as the 41st Commander of the Korea Army Academy at Yeongcheon-a cradle of national defense that has produced approximately 160,000 elite officers since its founding in 1968-was commissioned as a member of the 29th class and has served in key positions such as Commander of the Tactical Training Group at the Army Artillery School, Commander of the 3rd Artillery Brigade, Commander of the 3rd Division, and Commander of the Army Artillery School.


In her inaugural address, Commander Park Jinhee stated, "I will maintain a people-centered spirit, abandon complacency and convention, and carry out my duties with the courage to embrace change and innovation." She added, "I will do my utmost to foster elite officers with the capabilities to lead with integrity and secure victory."
