Woori Financial Becomes Official Partner of Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, Supporting 'Team Korea'

Official Sponsorship of National Teams
From the 2026 Milano Winter Olympics to the 2028 LA Olympics

Woori Financial Group announced on January 14 that it had signed an agreement with the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee to become an 'Official Partner of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee' at the Woori Financial Group headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul.

The signing ceremony was attended by Jongryong Lim, Chairman of Woori Financial Group, Seungmin Yoo, President of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, and other key officials, who pledged mutual cooperation for the advancement of sports in Korea and the enhancement of the national team athletes' performance. Through this agreement, Woori Financial Group will support the national teams participating in major international events, including the 2026 Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics, the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, and the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, as an official partner of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee.

Woori Financial Group will not only provide general support but will also work with the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee to promote the 'Woori Dream Bridge' initiative, which supports less popular sports and promising junior athletes. Along with this agreement, the company also signed a sponsorship contract with Seungmin Sung, the modern pentathlon bronze medalist at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
