Twenty Supported Companies Achieve Success
Including Three Best Innovation Awards
Artificial intelligence (AI) companies supported by the Gwangju Artificial Intelligence Industry Convergence Project Group (AICA) won a total of 25 Innovation Awards at CES 2026, the world’s largest information technology (IT) and home appliance exhibition.
The Artificial Intelligence Industry Convergence Project Group announced on the 14th that, at CES 2026 recently held in Las Vegas, USA, 20 companies-including NationA, LBSTech, Mango Slab, IndieJ, and Aidol-received a total of 25 Innovation Awards. Among them, three companies won the Best Innovation Award in their respective categories.

NationA, which received the Best Innovation Award in the content and entertainment category, introduced an AI-based production tool that converts text, voice, and video inputs into three-dimensional motion. LBSTech, which won the Best Innovation Award in the travel and tourism category, unveiled an AI-based boarding and alighting design system that considers transportation-vulnerable groups. Mango Slab, which received the Best Innovation Award in the mobile devices, accessories, and apps category, presented AI-based Braille label printer technology.
The number of CES Innovation Awards won by AICA-supported companies has increased from one in 2023, to nine in 2024, twelve in 2025, and twenty-five in 2026. AICA has been supporting local AI companies through AI data centers, demonstration support, talent development, investment linkage, and global expansion assistance.
Director Oh Sangjin stated, "This is the result of both the technological capabilities of the companies and the regional AI industry ecosystem," adding, "We will continue to foster AI companies that compete in the global market."
