KBIZ Establishes '2030 Digital Strategy'... Aims to Lead the Era of AI Transformation

Supporting the Digital Transformation of Cooperatives and SMEs
Implementing Six Core Strategies and Thirty-Three Action Items

The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business announced on January 14 that it has established the '2030 KBIZ Digital Strategy' and is beginning its full-scale implementation.

This strategy is a mid- to long-term plan designed to systematically support the digital transformation of cooperatives and small and medium-sized enterprises, in line with the government's artificial intelligence (AI) grand transformation policy. The Federation has set its vision as '2030 KBIZ: Connected by Data, Realized by AI,' expressing its commitment to leading the era of AI transformation by actively utilizing data and artificial intelligence. The '2030' in the vision refers to both the five-year period (2026-2030) and symbolizes the agile and creative Millennials & Gen Z.

In the short term, the strategy aims to create an 'organization where knowledge is connected,' in the medium term, an 'organization where AI becomes a work partner,' and in the long term, an 'organization at the center of the artificial intelligence transformation (AX) ecosystem.' To achieve these goals, the Federation has established six main strategies: ▲AX-based future work environment ▲Promotion of digital transformation (DX) to secure future competitiveness of SMEs and cooperatives ▲Strengthening information security capabilities to respond to intelligent threats ▲Value creation based on integrated data ▲Advancement of future-oriented infrastructure ▲Securing organizational capabilities to lead digital innovation. Under these strategies, the Federation plans to implement 14 strategic tasks and 33 action items.

Jung Unyeol, Head of the Digital Innovation Division at the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, stated, "We will ensure that the digital strategy does not remain a declaration but is fully implemented across the organization," adding, "We aim to establish ourselves as the central institution leading the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises."
