Icheon City Accepting Applications for Village Community Project Until the 26th

This project is a resident proposal-based initiative that supports the process of residents identifying and solving issues in their neighborhoods that they experience in daily life.

Eligible applicants are community groups composed of at least five residents who either live in or have their daily lives in Icheon. Any group engaged in community-based activities for the public good is eligible to apply.

There are two categories for applications: "General Competition" and "Care Competition." The "General Competition" is for resident communities addressing local issues, and a total of six groups will be selected. Each selected group will receive up to 3.5 million won in project funding.

The "Care Competition" supports community activities focused on the care of multicultural children. One group will be selected and provided with up to 20 million won in project funding.

Detailed information on how to apply, required documents, and other specifics can be found in the announcement on the Icheon city website.

A city official stated, "We hope that through this open call, the process of residents directly considering and solving neighborhood issues will spread throughout the region."
