Advanced Technologies Including Copywriting and Demand Forecasting
Comprehensive Support for Global Infrastructure Such as Overseas Payments and Logistics
On January 14, Cafe24 announced that it will officially launch the "Smart e-Commerce Innovation Project" to support domestic manufacturers in entering the global market. The company plans to build a digital ecosystem that integrates production and distribution, enabling manufacturing companies to pursue global growth based on data.
According to the results of the "2024 National Business Survey" released by Statistics Korea, there are approximately 500,000 manufacturing businesses in South Korea. Despite this vast scale, which serves as the backbone of the Korean economy, a significant number of manufacturers are facing growth limitations due to complex distribution structures and a lack of direct online sales capabilities.
The main challenges faced by manufacturers include a lack of experience and know-how in e-commerce operations, difficulties in securing and training specialized personnel, and fragmentation of production, inventory, and distribution data. It has been analyzed that inefficiencies arising from the failure to share sales data with production sites in real time are hindering the growth of the domestic manufacturing industry.
To assist these manufacturers, Cafe24 will build a fully integrated digital ecosystem for production and distribution based on its premium service, "Cafe24 PRO." The company plans to organically connect manufacturing processes and online sales systems by applying data-driven demand forecasting, as well as copywriting and automated marketing optimization technologies. The focus will be on accelerating business growth and creating new data-driven added value.
Currently, Cafe24 is working on the project with more than 50 promising manufacturers, including the food manufacturer Berry Nature. Berry Nature achieved explosive growth last year, with sales surging by 433% compared to the previous year, thanks to its collaboration with Cafe24.
Lee Jaeseok, CEO of Cafe24, emphasized, "Global expansion is an indispensable strategy that manufacturers with excellent product competitiveness must pursue for survival. By completely overcoming the online entry barriers and global infrastructure challenges that individual companies cannot handle alone, through Cafe24's innovative technology and one-stop platform network, we will provide a decisive business weapon so that 500,000 Korean manufacturers can secure new survival engines in the global market."
Cafe24 is continuously recruiting manufacturing companies to participate in this project. Companies wishing to participate can receive detailed guidance on the project through the consultation application page in the Cafe24 announcements section.
