Counters G to J on the East Side of the Third Floor
Accelerating the Launch of the Integrated Airline
Asiana Airlines announced on January 14 that it has completed the most significant preparations for the launch of the integrated airline by commencing operations at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 (T2).
On this day, flight OZ177, which departed from Haneda Airport in Tokyo, Japan, arrived at Incheon Airport T2 at 4:55 a.m. The first flight to depart from T2 was OZ112 bound for Osaka, which took off at 7:06 a.m.

Check-in procedures at T2 are conducted at counters G to J on the east side of the third floor. Counter G is dedicated to baggage drop-off, while counter H operates both baggage drop-off and economy class counters. Business class passengers and premium members can use counter J. For lounges, passengers can access four Korean Air lounges in T2.
To prepare for the terminal relocation, Asiana Airlines selected more than 50 staff members from relevant departments and established a dedicated task force (TF) on August 1 of last year. The TF reviewed about 100 checklist items every week and spent approximately five months preparing for the terminal move. Starting today and continuing for seven days until January 20, a stabilization period will be in place to monitor and address any issues.
Asiana Airlines plans to make every effort to prevent confusion that may arise from the terminal relocation. Guidance banners have been installed on electronic signboards and streetlights at the entrance to Incheon Airport, and notices have been posted both inside and outside public transportation vehicles.
Additionally, for passengers who mistakenly arrive at Terminal 1, a separate information desk will be operated in the existing check-in counter C area. Asiana Airlines staff wearing terminal guidance sashes will provide assistance at the C area counters and at Gate 8 on the third floor. The information desk will be open from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. for two weeks, from today until January 27. In cooperation with Incheon International Airport Corporation, emergency shuttle vehicles will also be operated between terminals for passengers at risk of missing their departure time due to arriving at the wrong terminal.
On this day, Lee Hakjae, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, delivered a congratulatory message to mark Asiana Airlines' first day at the new terminal, saying, "Congratulations on Asiana Airlines' move to T2. I hope this will be the first step toward the prosperity of the soon-to-be-launched integrated airline."
