Temporary Jobs Offered for Low-Income and Vulnerable Job Seekers
Seongnam City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor: Shin Sangjin) will be recruiting 135 applicants for the "2026 First Half Regional Community Job Project" from January 19 to January 23.
Those selected through this project will be assigned to 20 different worksites, including the Seongnam Citizen Farm Development, management of the Tancheon Wetland Ecological Park, and the creation of community gardens, flower paths, and flower beds at local administrative welfare centers. The work period will be four months, from March 3 to June 30.
Working conditions vary by age. Individuals aged 19 to 64 will work six hours per day, five days a week, and will receive 61,920 won per day based on six hours of work. Those aged 65 and older will work three hours per day, five days a week, and will receive 30,960 won per day based on three hours of work.
All participants will receive an additional 5,000 won per day for transportation and snacks as incidental expenses. Enrollment in the four major social insurance programs is mandatory, depending on age.
Eligibility is limited to Seongnam residents aged 19 or older who are capable of working, whose total household income does not exceed 60% of the median income, and whose household assets are 400 million won or less.
Citizens wishing to apply should visit their local administrative welfare center with their ID during the application period and submit the required documents.
The selection results will be posted on the Seongnam City website on February 20, and successful applicants will be notified individually.
