The Communication Festival, held that morning on the fourth floor of the Seojong-myeon Multipurpose Welfare Center, was attended by Jeon Jinseon, Governor of Yangpyeong County, Hong Jupyo, Head of Seojong-myeon, provincial and county council members, local institution and organization leaders, and about 100 residents of Seojong-myeon.

The first part of the event was dedicated to sharing the major achievements of Seojong-myeon from the previous year. Key accomplishments included the creation of a scenic trail along Munho Stream, the launch of an express bus route between Seojong and Jamsil, and the establishment of the Heukhyanggi Barefoot Trail in Seojong-myeon. The current status of county government initiatives was also reviewed together with the residents.

Next, plans for the future development of Seojong-myeon in 2026 were outlined, focusing on expanding the regional road network and building tourism infrastructure. These plans include the construction of a new Seojong Bridge, the installation of a tunnel between Yangseo and Seojong, the creation of a new bicycle path connecting Yangseo and Seojong, and the development of the Munho-ri Riverside Sports Park.

During the subsequent open dialogue session with residents, various opinions closely related to daily life were raised, such as the expansion and paving of roads and parking lots, the installation of water supply and city gas, the replacement of artificial turf at the soccer field, the construction of a cultural center, and the building of the Bukhangang Bridge. Relevant department heads and division chiefs provided direct responses on-site, ensuring two-way communication.
