Discussions were held on the development directions of regional culture and tourism industries, including the implementation of a Hwacheon-specialized Town MICE model by Hallym University and Hwacheon County, the Cheorwon Healthy Pleasure Project by Kyungdong University and Cheorwon County, the Yanggu White Porcelain Culture Revitalization Project by Chuncheon National University of Education and Yanggu County, and the development and application of wellness experience effect analysis technology by Halla University and Jeongseon County.

In particular, Hallym University plans to establish a Town MICE Research Institute in Hwacheon County to build a sustainable, region-centered Town MICE ecosystem. The university will also strengthen policy research, capacity-building programs for local residents, and collaborative networks to ensure the successful adoption of the Town MICE model.

Meanwhile, Hallym University is building a community-based Town MICE model in Hwacheon County through the RISE Project, utilizing local infrastructure such as park golf and the Sancheoneo Ice Festival to turn the entire region into a venue for events. To this end, the university is promoting joint industry-academia technology development projects and comprehensive corporate support programs, leading the way in collaborative growth among local governments, industries, and academia. In addition, through the G-Tech Bridge Council, the university aims to directly contribute to the development of specialized regional industries and the resolution of pressing issues faced by local residents.
