Free On-Site Consultations for National and Local Taxes
"Visiting Tax Accountants" Available in Three Designated Areas

Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced on January 13 that it will appoint and operate the "6th Village Tax Accountants" to provide citizens with continuous opportunities for free tax consultations.

The "Village Tax Accountant" program, which has been operated by the city since 2016, offers free tax consultations to small business owners and rural residents through the voluntary services of certified tax accountants.

The newly appointed Village Tax Accountants will provide residents with free consultations on national and local taxes for two years, starting this year and continuing through next year.

The city will also operate the "Visiting Village Tax Accountant" service. The Visiting Village Tax Accountants will offer on-site consultations in three designated areas: the Civil Affairs Office at Pyeongtaek City Hall, the Tax Division at the Songtan Branch Office, and the Tax Division at the Anjung Branch Office.

The Visiting Village Tax Accountant service will be available from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the second Monday of every month. Those interested can receive consultations by visiting in person on the scheduled date or by making a reservation through the city’s official website.
