Miseop Kim, Vice Chairman of Mirae Asset Securities, Joins "Youth Illegal Gambling Eradication Relay Campaign"

Mirae Asset Securities announced on January 13 that Vice Chairman and CEO Miseop Kim participated in the "Youth Illegal Gambling Eradication Relay Campaign" organized by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency.

This campaign, which began in March under the auspices of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, is a nationwide initiative conducted in a relay format. With the slogan "Illegal cyber gambling targeting youth is a scam crime that you can never win," the campaign aims to raise awareness about the seriousness and dangers of youth gambling.

Vice Chairman Kim joined the campaign after being nominated by Shinhan Bank CEO Jeong Sanghyuk. He emphasized the importance of preventing youth gambling by sharing a photo containing a message calling for the eradication of illegal youth gambling on social networking services (SNS).

Vice Chairman Kim stated, "Illegal youth gambling is not just an individual deviation but a problem that threatens the sustainability of society," adding, "Mirae Asset Securities will continue to participate so that young people can grow up in a healthy environment."

He nominated Baek Hyeonggeun, CEO of Hyundai Motor Securities, and Lee Hosung, CEO of Hana Bank, as the next participants in the relay campaign, urging for greater interest and participation in protecting the healthy future of young people.
