This meeting has been organized as an official introductory event for the new district head to meet with local resident representatives. The plan is to minimize formalities and protocols, instead fostering a relaxed atmosphere in the format of a tea meeting. The district aims to directly listen to the residents' voices and build a foundation of trust in district administration operations.

The meetings began on January 12 with visits to Haengsin 4-dong and Haengsin 3-dong, and will continue sequentially across all 21 neighborhoods.

District Head Jusiun Joo will meet with resident representatives, such as heads of functional organizations, at each neighborhood’s Administrative Welfare Center to deliver an inaugural greeting, share the city’s policy direction for 2026, and engage in in-depth discussions on key local issues.

In particular, the district plans to systematically manage residents’ suggestions and local issues collected during the meetings by registering them in the "On-site Civil Complaints 25" system. These will be actively reflected in district administration to enhance the effectiveness of administrative services.

District Head Jusiun Joo stated, "Close cooperation with resident representatives, who serve on the front lines of administration, is more important than anything else for the stability and development of the local community. Starting with this communication meeting, I will continue to seek answers in the field, practice empathetic administration, and listen closely to even the smallest voices of residents, leading Deogyang District toward a new leap forward."
