Delivery of Donated Goods for a Warm Winter
The Happo-dong Administrative Welfare Center in Masanhappo-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, conducted on-site visits to four community child centers in the district to ensure that local children can spend the winter in good health and safety. The purpose was to inspect and communicate for the establishment of a mutual cooperation system.
On January 12, the center delivered a 10kg bag of rice as a donation and held a session to listen to the difficulties and inconveniences faced in the operation of the community child centers. The team checked the operational status of each center and reviewed the cooperation system to ensure prompt coordination in case of winter safety issues or vulnerable situations.
The community child centers in the district provide comprehensive child welfare services, including after-school care for children in need, educational and cultural programs, and connections with guardians and the local community.
Park Geunhee, Head of Happo-dong, said, "I would like to thank the staff of the community child centers for their dedication to the children. We will continue to do our best to minimize gaps in child care in the community and to provide support for the children."
