Majang Livestock Market Joins Baemin Grocery Shopping and Retail Platform

Now, customers can conveniently enjoy premium Korean beef from the Majang-dong livestock wholesale and retail market in Seoul at home through Baemin (Baedal Minjok).

Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin, announced on January 13 that vendors from the Majang Livestock Market have joined and started selling their products on Baemin’s grocery shopping and retail platform.

The newly participating vendors include Yeolgwang Hanwoo, Yuwon Meat, Sinseon Seol Hanwoo, and four others, making a total of seven. Orders can be placed from most areas in Seoul, except for certain districts such as Gangseo-gu and Geumcheon-gu. Operating hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but may vary depending on each store. Deliveries are made via quick service upon order, and the delivery fee can be up to 5,000 won depending on the distance.

In particular, Baemin is collaborating with market merchants to introduce exclusive products tailored to the preferences of delivery customers. Son Youngho, head of the Majang Livestock Market Hanwoo Cooperative, stated, "Ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, we are now able to introduce Majang-dong’s renowned livestock products to customers through Baemin’s instant delivery service. We expect this collaboration with Baemin to expand quick commerce sales channels for Majang-dong market merchants."

With this launch at Majang Livestock Market, Baemin plans to continue discovering and attracting specialized commercial districts with strong brand power. The goal is to conveniently offer products from well-known specialty markets to customers, while providing merchants with new online sales channels.
