The Fender Play TV app will be available in the first half of this year on newly released TVs and smart monitors. Previous models will be supported sequentially through future updates.

Through this collaboration, consumers will be able to enjoy a more immersive professional instrument education experience on the large screens of their living room TVs.

This platform is especially notable for moving beyond the small screens of mobile devices or tablets, offering a vivid learning environment that leverages the TV’s high-definition display and sound system, making it feel as if you are facing a real instructor.

Fender, founded in the United States in 1946, is a specialized musical instrument manufacturer known for producing guitars, basses, and amplifiers. The company is a world-famous guitar brand favored by rock legends such as Eric Clapton, Kurt Cobain, and Buddy Holly.

Fender Play TV was designed based on data showing that 90% of beginner guitarists give up midway. Samsung TV users can choose from electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, or ukulele and follow a systematic curriculum through the app.

Additionally, Fender Play TV provides videos that make it easy for first-time players to learn, including how to hold a guitar, how to tune it, how to play chords, how to read tablature, and how to play riffs, which are repeated guitar melody patterns.

The "Jam Mode," which allows users to experience playing together on a virtual stage with the TV screen as the backdrop, maximizes the enjoyment of playing for users.

Lee Heon, Executive Vice President of the Visual Display (VD) Business at Samsung Electronics, stated, "Samsung TV has now evolved beyond a simple content viewing device to become a central platform for home life, where learning, self-development, and enjoyment coexist. We will continue our collaboration with Fender so that playing instruments can naturally become a part of everyday life through Samsung TV."

Cliff Kim, Head of the Fender Play TV business division, said, "We are delighted to deliver Fender Play TV’s innovative interactive lessons through Samsung TV’s outstanding picture quality and large screen. This partnership offers music lovers around the world the best opportunity to learn instruments at home in the most comfortable and effective way."
