"Projectory" is a self-directed creative activity program that serves as a laboratory where youth can freely carry out projects. It is designed to help young people realize their ideas and develop problem-solving skills through project-based activities. The planning and operation of the program are managed by the NC Cultural Foundation, while Seongnam City provides management and administrative support to ensure the program proceeds smoothly in accordance with the agreement.

The program targets youth from fourth grade in elementary school to third grade in high school residing in the Seoul metropolitan area, including Seongnam City. It will be offered free of charge from January 13 to June 27, 2026, in two spaces on the fourth floor of the Seongnam Culture and Arts Education Center (386 Sujeong-ro, Sujeong-gu). Detailed information regarding participation and membership recruitment can be found on the Projectory website.

Participating youth will have the opportunity to experience a variety of creative programs, including independent activities such as woodworking and coding, as well as project group activities and creative workshops, together with experts and operational crew organized by the NC Cultural Foundation.

Shin Sangjin, Mayor of Seongnam City, stated, "As part of the community contribution plan through the attraction of outstanding companies, the city will do its utmost to help young people grow into creative and practical talents through this project."

Park Myungjin, Chairman of the NC Cultural Foundation, said, "We will make greater efforts to ensure that the newly established Projectory in Seongnam City provides local youth with an environment to experience creativity and further contribute to creating social value."

Meanwhile, in order to secure self-sufficiency by attracting outstanding companies, Seongnam City sold the site at 641 Sampyeong-dong, originally planned for a public office building in Pangyo, to the NCSoft consortium in 2021. Major community contribution plans include supporting the creation of a little league baseball field in Hwangsaeul Sports Park, operating a multipurpose community center, establishing startup and cultural spaces, and building an industry-academia-research cooperation system, among other local reinvestment projects. Going forward, Seongnam City plans to continue creating positive changes in the community through public contributions that maximize citizen benefits when attracting high-tech industry companies to idle sites.
