On January 12, at the Government Complex in Gwacheon, the Broadcasting Media and Communications Committee conducted a work report with the Korea Broadcasting Advertising Corporation and the Korea Press Foundation for Media Literacy, emphasizing innovation in work processes. The work report was broadcast live through the committee's official YouTube channel, in accordance with the philosophy of the citizen-sovereignty government, which emphasizes administrative transparency and openness.

Min Youngsam, President of the Korea Broadcasting Advertising Corporation, and Choi Chulho, Chairman of the Korea Press Foundation for Media Literacy, delivered the reports in person. The Broadcasting Media and Communications Committee, as the supervising authority, conducted a comprehensive review of the two organizations' structure and management status, progress on key national policy tasks, and the overall operation of these institutions.

In the work report from the Korea Broadcasting Advertising Corporation, the committee requested the following: the establishment of management innovation measures to overcome the current deficit situation; prompt implementation of national policy tasks that the public can tangibly experience; the introduction of cross-media rep agencies allowing broadcast advertising sales agents to handle both online and mobile advertisements; and the smooth execution of public interest projects, such as support for regional and small broadcasters, as well as advertising support for small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners.

In the work report from the Korea Press Foundation for Media Literacy, the committee reviewed the public's media access rights and efforts to strengthen media competence, and received reports on the schedules and concrete implementation plans for major policy areas, including expanding media education and viewer participation, as well as improving media access for people with disabilities.

Kim Jongcheol, Chair of the Broadcasting Media and Communications Committee, who presided over the work report, emphasized, "Now that our committee is responsible for overseeing all broadcasting affairs, including the promotion of broadcasting media, I urge both public institutions to actively discover new projects related to promotion." He added, "It is also necessary to seek improvement measures, such as restructuring projects, to ensure this year's budget is used in the most efficient way possible."
