Immediately after the strong wind forecast, the city carried out intensive patrols focusing on major arterial roads, intersections, and commercial districts. In particular, the inspection targeted old signboards and banners that were shaking or at risk of falling due to the strong winds, and 350 banners deemed to pose a high risk of accidents were removed on the spot.

This maintenance effort was carried out through a public-private partnership system to enable a swift response. Gimpo City worked closely with the Gimpo branch of the Gyeonggi-do Outdoor Advertising Association (Branch Manager Heo Hyungseok) to conduct thorough patrols even in areas not easily accessible to administrative personnel, preemptively eliminating potential hazards.

An official from the Clean City Division stated, "When strong winds occur, falling advertisements can lead to fatal accidents involving pedestrians or vehicles, so proactive response is of utmost importance," adding, "We will continue to enhance the efficiency of on-site response through cooperation with relevant organizations and prioritize citizen safety above all else."

Meanwhile, Gimpo City urged citizens to exercise particular caution when passing near signboards and banners during strong wind conditions, and requested that any hazardous advertisements be reported to City Hall immediately upon discovery.
