Gwangju Shinsegae Co., Ltd. is launching pre-orders for Lunar New Year gift sets, allowing customers to prepare gifts in advance at reasonable prices.

From January 16 to 29, Gwangju Shinsegae will present a diverse selection of premium gifts curated by Shinsegae under the theme of "2026 Gwangju Shinsegae Lunar New Year" at the food hall on the basement level one of the main building.

First, seasonal and highly nutritious meat, fresh produce, and seafood gift sets will be offered at discounts of up to 20%. This year, the company has specially selected products that guarantee the highest quality, including premium Hanwoo beef from cows raised for an extended period to enhance marbling, top 1% specialty fruits chosen through a three-step selection process, and seafood processed hygienically from the largest and finest raw ingredients.

For livestock, only meat that meets Shinsegae's own strict quality standards will be offered.

The "Luxury Hanwoo Dabok" set, made up of the top 3% of 1++ Hanwoo beef, and the "Shinsegae Female Hanwoo Dabok" set, which is meticulously inspected every week by a professional Hanwoo auction buyer to ensure both taste and hygiene, will be available at discounted prices.

Other limited-edition premium Hanwoo sets include the "Anseongmat Chum Hanwoo Dabok," produced from pedigree calves raised in a verified system and processed through rigorous procedures, and the "Traditional Marinated Hanwoo Bulgogi" set, which features Eonyang-style bulgogi. These sets offer a variety of options for customers.

Additionally, the "Shinsegae Select Farm" fruit gift sets, featuring premium fruits grown under strict production management at renowned farms across the country, are also noteworthy.

The "Shinsegae Apple and Pear Mixed Obok," carefully selected through a three-step process based on sweetness, size, and shape, as well as the "Shinsegae Thai Mango"-personally sourced by a produce buyer from the famous Chachoengsao mango region in Thailand to introduce the best overseas fruits starting this year-will be available at reasonable prices.

A wide variety of safe and trustworthy domestic seafood products are also being offered.

In particular, the seafood section has adopted the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries’ seafood traceability system, allowing customers to check all tracking information from the fishery to the table.
