This event marks the first blood donation drive since the signing of the "Life Sharing Organization Business Agreement" with the Seoul Southern Blood Center of the Korean Red Cross in November of last year. It was organized to help stabilize the blood supply during the year-end and New Year period, when the number of blood donors sharply decreases.
On this day, employees from Hanil Holdings and Hanil Cement lined up at the blood donation bus set up in front of the main entrance of the headquarters. Hanil Cement actively supported the event by providing additional break time to ensure employees could participate smoothly. The company also plans to continue the blood donation campaign at its Danyang plant and expand the culture of life sharing to business sites nationwide.
One employee shared, "Although it is a small act, knowing that it can help save someone's life makes the start of the new year even more meaningful."
Hanil Cement established the volunteer group "WITH," consisting of employees and their families, in 2011, and has been holding regular blood donation campaigns twice a year since 2013. In addition, the company has been consistently engaged in various sharing activities, including support for elderly people living alone, meal service volunteering, and coal briquette delivery.
