Park Sehun AI Research Institute (Director Park Sehun) announced on January 12 that a demonstration seminar showcasing the direct application of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in real dental clinical settings will be held at 6:00 p.m. on January 14 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Namsan, Seoul. Hosted by Park Sehun AI Research Institute (Director Park Sehun), the event will bring together around 200 domestic dentists, medical professionals, and academic experts to share the current status and future of next-generation AI-based dental care technologies.
The seminar will present various real-world cases demonstrating how AI is being integrated into dental care processes. Topics will include: ▲ AI-based diagnostic support systems ▲ Automation of prosthetic and orthodontic treatment planning ▲ Clinical big data analysis. The event will feature demonstration videos and practical examples to show how these advanced technologies can be utilized in patient care.
AI technology is expected to go beyond simple data analysis to enable precise diagnostic support and detailed treatment strategies based on actual patient imaging and medical information, thereby significantly improving the efficiency of care at individual dental clinics.
Park Sehun, Director of the AI Research Institute, stated, "AI is not a technology that replaces the role of dentists, but rather a tool that supports more precise and efficient diagnosis and treatment," adding, "This demonstration seminar will mark the first step for the Korean dental community in practically adopting AI in clinical practice."
Director Park further commented, "Accurate diagnosis and treatment planning will strengthen patient-tailored care, which will ultimately lead to enhanced quality of dental care and increased patient satisfaction."
