Praxis Capital Partners and NH Investment & Securities Join Investment
Aiming for IPO Within the Year
SDT, a company specializing in quantum technology, announced on January 12 that it has secured a total investment of 30 billion won from Praxis Capital Partners and NH Investment & Securities.
SDT plans to focus the funds raised through this investment on building and advancing its 'artificial intelligence (AI) quantum hybrid infrastructure.' Through this, the company aims to present next-generation computing solutions that can meet the exponentially increasing computational demands of the AI era and to secure market leadership.

Praxis Capital Partners, which led this investment, cited SDT's unique quantum-AI hybrid technology and its potential for market expansion as the core reasons for its investment. SDT recently demonstrated its technological substance and commercialization capabilities by signing a contract to supply a commercial quantum hybrid system. With this investment as a starting point, SDT plans to expand its influence in both the public and private sectors and significantly scale up its existing business.
With this investment, SDT is also accelerating its preparations for a technology-special listing and initial public offering (IPO) in collaboration with NH Investment & Securities, its lead underwriter. Based on its proprietary quantum-AI hybrid technology and commercialization achievements, SDT is undergoing the technology-special evaluation process and has begun full-scale preparations with the goal of going public within the year.
SDT expects its sales in the first half of this year alone to grow by more than 200% compared to the previous year, as commercial revenue becomes visible following the recent supply of quantum computers to AI data centers. If additional supply contracts currently under negotiation proceed as planned, SDT forecasts that its annual sales in 2026 will increase by more than 500% compared to the previous year.
Yoon Jiwon, CEO of SDT, stated, "This investment is recognition of SDT's vision for a hybrid ecosystem that combines AI and quantum computing," adding, "With the secured funds, we will lead the next-generation infrastructure market, including AI data centers, and achieve a successful IPO within the year to become a global quantum technology company."
