The group Stray Kids, along with singers G-Dragon and Jennie, each won grand prizes in their respective categories at the 40th Golden Disc Awards held at the Taipei Dome on January 10.

Stray Kids took home the grand prize in the album category, while G-Dragon received the grand prize in the digital music category. Jennie was awarded the newly established Artist Grand Prize this year.

Stray Kids, who won the grand prize in the album category, achieved their first grand prize in seven years since receiving the Rookie of the Year award at the 33rd ceremony in 2019. With their fourth full-length album "KARMA" surpassing 3 million copies sold in its first week, Stray Kids became double winners by securing both the main album award and the grand prize.

G-Dragon won the grand prize in the digital music category with "HOME SWEET HOME," the title track from his third full-length album "?bermensch." This marks his first grand prize as a solo artist since winning the main digital music award at the 27th ceremony in 2013. G-Dragon achieved a triple crown by winning the digital music grand prize, the main digital music award, and the main album award.

Jennie, the first recipient of the newly established Artist Grand Prize, was recognized for her achievements with her solo album "Ruby" and its title track "like JENNIE." Jennie also won the main digital music award both as a solo artist and as a member of BLACKPINK with their hit "JUMP," and took home a total of four trophies, including the Global Impact Award with PRISM.
