Gyeonggi Province to Provide Up to 2.5 Million Won in Support for Jeonse Fraud Victims, Including Relocation Expenses

The Gyeonggi Provincial Government will provide a total of 2.5 million won in support to victims of jeonse fraud, covering moving expenses and emergency living expenses.

On January 12, the Gyeonggi Provincial Government announced that, among jeonse fraud victims, those eligible for emergency housing support who move to a new residence will receive up to 1.5 million won per household for relocation expenses. In addition, households affected by jeonse fraud will be given 1 million won each in emergency living expenses to help stabilize their daily lives. Both forms of support are provided only once in a lifetime.

However, if an applicant is already receiving government or Gyeonggi Provincial emergency welfare support under the Emergency Welfare Support Act, they cannot receive overlapping emergency living expense support.
