On January 11 (local time), Iran Human Rights (IHR), a Norway-based organization, reported that at least 192 deaths had been confirmed as of this date. This figure is about four times higher than the 51 deaths announced on January 9.

IHR pointed out that Iranian authorities have blocked internet and communications in the country for over 60 hours, and stated, "According to unverified reports, some sources suggest that the number of deaths could exceed 2,000."

The US-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) stated that the total number of deaths, including both civilians and security forces, is at least 116.

Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam, Director of IHR, emphasized, "The massacre of protesters that has occurred nationwide since the internet shutdown over the past three days may be far more extensive than we can imagine," urging the international community to use every possible means to stop it.
