At 7:16 p.m. that day, Councilman Kim stated at the arrival hall of Incheon International Airport, "I will faithfully cooperate with the investigation."

However, Kim did not respond to reporters' questions such as, "Do you admit to handing over the 100 million won nomination bribe?", "Why did you submit a written statement?", and "What is the reason for your early return?"

Kim left the airport through the staff entrance, escorted by airport personnel.

The police plan to bring Kim to the police station for questioning in the form of voluntary attendance. However, voluntary attendance is not compulsory. It has not been confirmed whether Kim has agreed to the investigation.
