Korea Housing Finance Corporation Supports 'Happy Mobility' in Transportation-Vulnerable Areas of Busan

Two Customized Mobility Vehicles Delivered to Gamman and Sajik Comprehensive Social Welfare Centers

Korea Housing Finance Corporation (President Kim Kyunghwan) announced on January 11 that it has delivered two customized mobility vehicles to Gamman Comprehensive Social Welfare Center and Sajik Comprehensive Social Welfare Center to improve transportation convenience for residents in transportation-vulnerable areas of Busan.

This support is part of the corporation's newly launched 'Happy Mobility' initiative this year. The purpose is to alleviate the inconvenience faced by local residents due to low transportation accessibility and to strengthen mobility rights within the community. The corporation selected two welfare centers in urgent need of vehicle support and donated vehicles tailored to the specific conditions of each area.

For Gamman Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, located in Nam-gu, Busan, a van was provided, considering the area's many hills and steep roads. For Sajik Comprehensive Social Welfare Center in Dongnae-gu, a compact car with high mobility and utility in densely populated residential areas was delivered. These vehicles will be used not only to support the transportation needs of welfare center users but also for home visits to vulnerable households and various on-site welfare services.

The corporation expects that this will significantly alleviate the inconvenience experienced by residents who have struggled to access welfare services due to transportation conditions. In particular, it is anticipated to have a positive effect on the daily mobility and social participation of the elderly and those with limited mobility.
