Man in His 20s Dies After Being Struck by Building Sign Blown Off by Strong Winds in Uijeongbu

In Uijeongbu, Gyeonggi Province, on January 10, a signboard that had been hanging from a building was blown off by strong winds and fell on a man in his twenties, identified as Mr. A, who was walking by.

Mr. A was transported to the hospital but ultimately passed away.

The police believe that the signboard, along with bricks and other debris, fell due to the strong winds and struck Mr. A.

The police and fire authorities are currently clearing debris at the scene and investigating the circumstances of the accident.
