'Hillstate Osong Station First,' anticipated as a new landmark in the Osong Station district, immediately drew significant attention from potential buyers upon the opening of its model house.
On January 9, the opening day of the Hillstate Osong Station First model house, approximately 1,200 visitors flocked to the site. Even before the model house opened, long lines formed as people waited to enter, and the interior remained crowded throughout the day. The consultation desks were also bustling with prospective applicants seeking information about the application schedule, deposits, and rent, highlighting the project's popularity.
This surge in visitors is primarily attributed to the residential stability offered by its private rental format and the relatively low threshold for application. Priority supply is available to newlyweds residing in Cheongju, members of the Osong Station Hyundai Regional Housing Cooperative, and other Cheongju residents who meet the specific eligibility requirements for each supply type. For general supply via the Cheongyak Home platform, any Korean national aged 19 or older residing in Cheongju as of the tenant recruitment announcement date can apply, regardless of home ownership or subscription savings account status.
Furthermore, with rental fraud emerging as a social issue recently, Hillstate Osong Station First is supplied as a private rental apartment with mandatory HUG (Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation) guarantee enrollment, eliminating concerns about deposit non-return. Residents can enjoy stable tenancy for up to 10 years without worrying about moving, and rent increases are capped at 5% per year, reducing the burden of housing costs. The absence of acquisition and property taxes also adds value to the complex.
Choi, a 37-year-old resident of Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju, who visited the model house with her child, said, "With housing costs rising and rental fraud becoming an issue, I was drawn to a private rental complex that offers the advantage of stable, long-term residence. As a large-scale Hillstate-branded development in a location ideal for raising children, I plan to apply for both the priority and general supply options."
The complex's outstanding educational environment is a major advantage. Osong Elementary School and Osong Kindergarten are located directly in front of the complex, allowing children to safely walk to school. A daycare center is also planned within the complex, making it a 'one-stop school zone' highly favored by parents with children ranging from infants to elementary school students.
The transportation infrastructure is also excellent. With KTX and SRT Osong Station within walking distance, it takes only about 40 minutes to reach Suseo in Seoul, ensuring outstanding accessibility to Seoul and the greater metropolitan area. The allocation of units will be determined by a 100% random computerized lottery system.
The application schedule is as follows: priority supply applications on January 12 (Monday), priority supply winner announcement on January 13 (Tuesday), general supply applications on January 16 (Friday), and general supply winner announcement on January 21 (Wednesday). Contract signing for successful applicants will take place over five days from January 25 (Sunday) to January 29 (Thursday).

The Hillstate Osong Station First model house is located in Yeonje-ri, Osong-eup, Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do. Move-in is scheduled for February 2027.
