'Hillsstate Osong Station First,' anticipated to become a new landmark in the Osong Station area, drew significant attention from prospective buyers as soon as its model house opened.
On January 9 (Friday), the opening day of the Hillsstate Osong Station First model house, approximately 1,200 people flocked to the site. Even before the doors opened, long lines formed outside, and the interior remained crowded throughout the day. The consultation desks were also bustling with prospective applicants seeking information on the application schedule, deposits, and rent, clearly demonstrating the project's popularity.

Priority applications are available to newlyweds residing in Cheongju, members of the Osong Station Hyundai Regional Housing Association, and Cheongju residents who meet the eligibility criteria for each supply type. For general applications through the Korea Real Estate Board's Cheongyak Home platform, any Korean citizen aged 19 or older as of the tenant recruitment announcement date can apply, regardless of home ownership or subscription savings account status.
Moreover, with rental fraud emerging as a social issue recently, Hillsstate Osong Station First is supplied as a private rental apartment that requires mandatory subscription to the Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG), eliminating concerns about deposit non-return. Residents can live stably for up to 10 years without worrying about moving, and rent increases are capped at 5% per year, reducing the burden of housing costs. The absence of acquisition and property taxes further enhances the value of the complex.
Choi, a 37-year-old resident of Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju, who visited the model house with her child, said, "With housing costs rising and rental fraud becoming an issue, I became interested in private rental complexes offering stable, long-term residency. As a large-scale Hillsstate branded complex with a location ideal for raising children, I am considering applying."
The complex's excellent educational environment is a major advantage. Osong Elementary School and Osong Kindergarten are located directly in front of the complex, allowing children to walk safely to school. A daycare center is also planned within the complex, making it a 'one-stop school zone' favored by parents with children from preschool to elementary school age.
The transportation infrastructure is also outstanding. With KTX and SRT Osong Station within walking distance, it takes about 40 minutes to reach Suseo in Seoul, offering excellent accessibility to Seoul and the greater metropolitan area. Sixty percent of the units (301 units) will be supplied as priority applications through the official website, while 40% (200 units) will be offered as general applications via the Korea Real Estate Board's Cheongyak Home platform. The allocation of units will be determined by a 100% random computerized lottery system.
The application schedule is as follows: priority application on January 12 (Monday), announcement of priority application results on January 13 (Tuesday), general application on January 16 (Friday), and announcement of general application results on January 21 (Wednesday). Contracts for successful applicants will be signed over five days from January 25 (Sunday) to January 29 (Thursday).
