Members Appointed to the 6th Public Opinion Concentration Survey Committee... An Minho of Sookmyung Women's University Named Chairperson

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on January 9 that it has appointed 10 members to the 6th term of the Public Opinion Concentration Survey Committee (Administrative Committee). The term of office for the committee members is three years.

The 6th term committee members are as follows (in alphabetical order): Kang Jooan, Editorial Writer at JoongAng Ilbo; Kang Hyuncheol, Professor at the Department of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence at Hoseo University; An Minho, Professor at the Department of Media at Sookmyung Women's University; Yoo Sujeong, Researcher at the KBS Media Research Institute; Lee Nayeon, Associate Professor at the Department of Media, Communication, and Film at Yonsei University; Lee Soeun, Assistant Professor at the Department of Media and Communication at Pukyong National University; Lee Junwoong, Professor at the Department of Communication at Seoul National University; Jung Seohyun, Researcher at the Press Arbitration Commission; Cho Yongman, Chairman of the Board at BizWatch; and Choi Jinho, Assistant Professor at the Department of Media and Communication at Gyeongsang National University.

On the morning of January 9, the 6th term committee held its first plenary session and elected An Minho, Professor at the Department of Media at Sookmyung Women's University, as Chairperson, and Kang Hyuncheol, Professor at the Department of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence at Hoseo University, as Vice Chairperson.

Going forward, the committee plans to conduct research and studies on public opinion concentration, such as calculating news usage share by media outlet, and to provide recommendations on the improvement of relevant laws and regulations.
