Jindo County Selected as Excellent Institution in Women and Family Policy Evaluation

Performance Evaluated Across 12 Indicators Including Women's Policies and Childcare Support

Jindo County in South Jeolla Province was selected as an excellent institution and received the Encouragement Award in the 2025 Comprehensive Evaluation of Women and Family Policies conducted by South Jeolla Province.

According to the county, this evaluation comprehensively assessed the implementation of women and family policies in 22 cities and counties within the province based on 12 indicators, including women's policies, childcare support, and child welfare.

The county received high marks for implementing various policies and initiatives for women and families, as well as contributing to the creation of a safe living environment in the region.

The county explained that its achievements in creating an environment where socially vulnerable groups-such as women, children, and the elderly-can live with peace of mind were reflected in the evaluation.

A county official stated, "The results of our women and family policy initiatives were reflected in the evaluation," adding, "We will continue to promote related policies going forward."
