This on-site sharing session was organized as a tailored, interactive communication platform to share key issues of the planned maintenance area in advance and to seek solutions together with residents.
The city reorganized the former "On-Site Promotion Room," which involved large group participation, into a "On-Site Sharing Room" focused on small groups (10 people or fewer). The sessions were conducted based on questions submitted and reviewed in advance, with prepared responses used as the basis for discussion.
The "Q&A On-Site Sharing Room" is open not only to landowners but also to any residents or stakeholders interested in the area’s maintenance project. The topics for each session are determined through resident consultation. At this second session, discussions focused on seven key issues submitted from District 3 of the Howon Area.
This operating method is part of Uijeongbu’s "Fast-One-Stop Service," designed to enhance communication between residents and administration during the maintenance project process. The city plans to continue this approach in order to simplify maintenance project procedures and strengthen administrative support.
On this day, eight residents from District 3 of the Howon Area (covering 576-2 Uijeongbu-dong and surrounding areas) attended the meeting and exchanged opinions with seven members of the city’s working team on a variety of topics, including maintenance project procedures, schedules, and directions for administrative support.
In particular, questions were raised regarding: the scope and appraisal standards for cash contributions when establishing maintenance infrastructure; the mandatory ratio for securing rental housing in redevelopment maintenance projects; and whether it is possible to have overlapping decisions regarding off-street parking lots and park facilities. The city listened to residents’ opinions and focused discussions on items that could be considered in future implementation.
The third On-Site Sharing Room is scheduled to be held on the 29th, targeting the planned reconstruction area of Yonghyeon Hyundai 1st Apartment Complex. Through this, the city aims to expand resident participation and administrative support for each planned maintenance area.
An official from Uijeongbu City stated, "For the smooth progress of planned maintenance areas, it is important for residents to participate directly and communicate. We will continue to promote maintenance-related administration through on-site, communication-focused efforts."
