Yuhan Corporation Donates "Health Companion" Reader's Blood Donation Certificates to Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation

Health magazine subscriber donates 20 blood donation certificates
along with personal essays and poems

Yuhan Corporation announced on January 9 that it donated blood donation certificates, collected from readers of its health magazine "Health Companion," along with additional certificates donated by its employees in the second half of the year, to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation.

A total of 90 blood donation certificates were delivered. One subscriber, who participated in the "Readers' Stories" section of Health Companion by submitting personal essays and poems, sent in 20 blood donation certificates that they had collected over approximately three years, along with a brief message: "Please use these for those in need."

Yuhan Corporation has been donating blood donation certificates every year to support the treatment and transfusion needs of pediatric cancer patients. These certificates serve as practical support by helping to reduce the financial burden of repeated blood transfusions required during treatment.

First published in 1969, Health Companion has been delivering accurate and timely information on health and disease for 56 years. In addition to regular subscribers, the magazine is distributed free of charge to school health offices, remote and island regions, public health centers, and pharmacies across the country. To improve access to healthcare information, Yuhan Corporation expanded its reach in 2019 by launching the "Health Companion" YouTube channel, and last year began broadcasting healthcare content through the cable channel "Living TV."
