The "2026 Economic Growth Strategy" was first discussed at a Cabinet meeting chaired by the President on November 11 of last year. Since then, detailed tasks have been continuously refined through reports from government ministries, public agencies, and relevant ministers' meetings. The strategy, which will be released today, includes four main areas-active macroeconomic management, a rebound in potential growth rate, balanced national growth and overcoming polarization, and strengthening the foundation for a major leap forward-comprising 15 key tasks and 50 specific action items. The government will also present its assessment of the current economic situation, along with forecasts for economic growth rate and consumer price inflation.

The event will be attended by 23 high-ranking government officials, including the Prime Minister and ministers and vice ministers from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Science and ICT, Ministry of Education, Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, among others. From the private sector, participants will include representatives from K-food and beauty industries, local tourism-related businesses, small and medium-sized enterprises, small business owners, youth employment officials, heads of economic organizations, and the chairperson of the National Research Council for Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences.
