Connecting CES 2026 Participants with Global Investment Firms

The city of Busan hosted a networking event in Las Vegas, USA, connecting Busan-based companies with global investment firms and buyers, in an effort to expand investment and cooperation.

On January 7 at 7:00 p.m. local time in Las Vegas, the Busan Metropolitan Government held the "Global Business Networking Day," creating a platform for collaboration and investment activation between Busan companies, global investment firms, and buyers, according to an announcement on January 9.

The event was attended by more than 150 participants, including the second cohort of "TEAM BUSAN" companies taking part in "CES 2026," as well as local global venture capital firms and buyers. The event adopted a free networking format, moving beyond formal exhibition hall consultations to focus on meaningful communication and exploring opportunities for cooperation in a more relaxed atmosphere over a Korean dinner.

A total of 28 innovative companies from Busan are participating in 'CES 2026'. At the event, these companies directly introduced their core technologies, business models, and growth strategies, engaging in in-depth discussions on attracting investment and building global partnerships.

A representative of a Busan company who attended the event said, "By directly interacting with global investment firms in the local business environment, we were able to effectively communicate our technological competitiveness and growth vision. Through natural conversations, we confirmed the potential for practical collaboration and are gaining confidence in entering the global market."

Park Hyungjoon, Mayor of Busan, emphasized, "I hope this networking event will serve as a starting point for deepening understanding and leading to tangible cooperation between Busan companies, global investment firms, and buyers. We will continue to strengthen global networking and investment connections so that Busan's innovative companies can become more competitive and grow in the global market."
