Siheung City to Recruit Participants for First Half Public Job Program from January 19 to 23

Siheung City in Gyeonggi Province will recruit 78 participants for the "2026 First Half Public Job Program" from January 19 to 23, aiming to provide stable livelihoods and job opportunities for vulnerable job seekers.

This initiative is divided into two categories: the Siheung-type Public Job Program (37 positions) and the Community Job Program (41 positions). The program period will run for approximately three months, from March 4 to May 29.

The Siheung-type Public Job Program involves environmental maintenance work, focusing on local tourism resources and cultural spaces, including parks and green areas. The Community Job Program offers productive jobs utilizing local resources, such as the Baegot and Wolgot urban farming projects and the management of the Lotus Theme Park.

Eligible applicants are unemployed residents or citizens without regular income who are at least 18 years old and registered in Siheung City. Those interested can check the required documents and work conditions on the notice board of the Siheung City Hall website, then apply in person at their local administrative welfare center.

Jung Hogi, Director of Economic Affairs at Siheung City, stated, "We will do our best to supplement household income and boost motivation for work by providing stable job opportunities to citizens facing difficulties due to employment gaps."
